Case Study - Mars\Y&R Sponsorship

Directli are pleased to have been able to assist London based shopper marketing agency MARS\Y&R with their fundraising efforts to help raise money for new computer equipment for St Luke’s Primary School in Islington, London.


MARS\Y&R approached Directli with a conundrum: they wanted to take sponsorships as quickly and cost effectively as possible, and liked what they saw with GoCardless, the Direct Debit payment processor. As the Directli solution is geared towards businesses who need to set-up specific payment requests for existing customers, rather than a variable donation system, some customisation was required.

In less than 24 hours, we were able to implement a custom code-set into Directli which enabled MARS\Y&R to take sponsorships from anybody wishing to donate, including a list of employees for those wishing to sponsor a colleague at MARS\Y&R.

MARS\Y&R sent out a single link to their network and are really pleased to see a large number of sponsorship payments already coming through.
